RYAN MICHAEL ROBBINS
Ryan Michael Robbins is a San Francisco, Bay Area-based music producer, DJ, and audio engineer with over a decade of experience. His Techno productions are well known for their pounding grooves, driving synths, and proven success in several Beatport Top 100 charts supported by many influential artists. His club performances span the United States to almost all of San Francisco's premier venues.
Ryan is Co-Owner / A&R of Fierce Animal Recordings, an internationally acclaimed record label founded in 2009, which hosts a massive list of respected artists such as; Cosmic Boys, Maksim Dark, Phoenix Movement, Alex Stein, Drumcomplex, Ben Champelll, Carlo Ruetz, Mac Vaughn, Kaiser Souzai, Ron Costa, Rebel Boy, Gabriel Moraes, Jason Johnson (DE), Tony Romanello, Boatech, Khainz, and many more. He has released on many other respected labels, such as; Set About, Extima, Black Snake Recordings, Kaligo Records, and Red Channels Records.
Ryan is a music producer, mentor, and senior audio engineer at Dark Star Audio, an audio firm focusing on artist development, production, mixing, and mastering. His work for clients has earned #1 chart positions on Beatport, including TOP 10 releases, TOP 100 singles, and Billboard's Top 50, with millions of streams on Spotify and Apple Music. He has helped countless artists launch their careers through the Dark Star Audio Artist Development Program. Ryan has created sound design for Nike TV ad campaigns, Library Albums for Dynamic Music, sample packs for Sample Magic and Sample Anatomy, and soundtracks for video games and services an extensive client portfolio with production, mixing, and mastering needs. Dark Star's client list includes some of the music industry's most significant audio labels and brands, including EMI, Sony, Downtown Records, Ultra, Spinnin Records, Toolroom, Intec, and many others.
Providing opportunities for artists to finish and release their music and network, collaborate, and share their music has been a focal point. He is responsible for a producer community-driven event called Headroom SF. Artists and record labels can hear and test their tracks on a professional sound system at Halcyon Night Club in San Francisco.
